Yes, it is compatible with Windows devices. You just need to connect two separate USB-C cables (not included in package) from your Windows PC to the dock to enable dual monitor and full-function use.
Is this also relevant for Linux laptops? It would be a bummer, are there any KVM-models which support multiple monitors + PD, for both MacOS and Linux laptops, using one usb-c cable?

Normally, it can work with the linux system, as the device just switch and pass the external peripharals for the host computer.
But honestly,comparing with Windows, it is more easily to get compatibility issue when Linux mount external peripheral, and need Linux system update driver to fix it.
Our advice is that you can try it, if can not meet your setup then you can apply return and get refund.
The laptop require connect both two USB-C in so it can work properly with two monitors.
