Keyboard stops Working - Has to be unplugged and plugged in

Engineer will have a try,but now cannot be fixed as it is working for keep the hotkey function activated.

Thanks Kevin, I can’t see it working as intended as the keyboard disconnects and requires a physical unplug and replug to resolve. If there is a way to disable/enable the hotkey switching feature as I just use the button on the device to switch I would see that as a positive as this function for me as a consumer is not working.

Hi,you can try use the combine buttons to disable hotkey function: left “Shift” + left “Ctrl” + left " Alt" + “]”
Enable:left “Shift” + left “Ctrl” + left " Alt" + “[”

I got this kvm switch about 8 months ago, and i havent had any issues until now. my mouse and keyboard will work with one desktop but when i switch over to the other desktop, they wont work. ive tried the steps here, as well as reached out to tech support, but nothing seems to work. is there anything else that I can do to possibly get it working again?

Could you try swap the two USB-A to USB-B cable between two desktop and check does the issue caused by this USB cable faulty?
And then try switch this USB cable connect to different USB 3.0 port in desktop side for a check.

I have tried this and used other usb-a to usb-b cables and they still do not work. Using different usb 3.0 usb ports did not work either.

Reopening this topics as still having some issues with the KVM switch. On top of the disconnect issue I have noticed that as the Keyboard drops out the Euro Symbol (€) is being repeated into any open text box on the Laptop. This symbol is generated by the keyboard command Alt + 0128.

Is this keyboard command used by the AV Access iDock D23 8K KVM Switch Docking Station at all?

System Setup is still the same as my original post.

AV Access iDock D23 8K KVM Switch Docking Station that was recently purchased.

Overall I Love the product but I am now getting an odd issue where the keyboard and/or mouse will stop working.

The keyboard is a Razer Blackwidow V3 and Mouse is a Razer Naga Trinity

This is all connected to two machines a Desktop Gaming Machine and a Dell Laptop via a Dell WD19S USB-C Docking Station 180W.

  2. Please try those two provided USB-A to USB-B cables directly connect to your each computer and bypass the DELL WD19S docking.
