Dual Screens for Mac

I know many users are looking for a KVM switch docking station that can extend to two different screens for their Macbooks. iDock M10 is designed for this. We added an extra USB-C port so that you can have two independent video streams feeding to your two monitors.

iDock M10 is a powerful KVM docking station that connects a Macbook and a desktop PC with monitors and all the peripherals. What you’ll get with iDock M10:

  • Dual monitor connection for your Macbook and PC
  • 100W power delivery for your Macbook

What Need to Know before Purchase

Compatibility

To make sure that iDock M10 works for you, please check if your Mac device has a Pro/Max Chip, or if it’s M4. To extend to two external screens, your Macbook has to have a processor:

  • of Pro/Max version
  • of M4
  • of M3 (support 2 extended screens when the lid is close)

Dual USB-C Cable

In the package, there is a USB-C cable for you to connect your Macbook to the iDock M10. It’s a 2-in-1 dual USB-C cable. If you use your own cable to connect your Macbook to the iDock, you need to make sure you connect 2 USB-C ports to both of the USB-C In ports to get two extended screens.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask away!

Hello Cecilia,

This looks like something I have been wanting for a while !
In my use case, I have 2 MacBook Pro laptops (1 for work and 1 personal)

  • Work is a M1 Pro
  • Personal is an M3 Max

Would I be able to use this doc to connect both laptops and enjoy extended monitors?

Hi John, this model is more designed for 1 MacBook and 1 desktop PC. You can check this diagram:

Hi Cecilia,

I see the diagram but can you ask your Product and Technology teams if connecting a second MacBook Pro instead of a PC using the USB-C like in the diagram below would work?

Hi. Oh I see. The USB Host port will not transmit any video data. It’s only for USB control. It’s for connecting to a desktop PC, together with the HDMI and DP ports. So the KVM switch has not only video data, but also USB data from the computer. iDock M10 can only work with one Macbook.

OK, I’ll wait for your next KVM for 2 macbook pro laptops.
Thanks
