:fire: What Does iDock B10 Do?

iDock B10 is designed for users who want high refresh rates for their setup (typically for a game PC and a work laptop). We have iDock C10 for one laptop and one desktop PC, which supports up to 4K@60Hz. While some users found it not enough for their setup and hope to have at least 4K@165Hz for the gaming PC (or some may use it for graphic-intensive work). Therefore we have iDock B10.

iDock B10 connects a laptop (via USB-C) and a desktop PC (via HDMI, DP and USB) with two monitors (via DP, HDMI).

  • It supports dual 4K@60Hz for the laptop end, and dual 8K@60Hz/4K@165Hz/1080P@240Hz for the desktop end.
  • The model supports G-sync, Free-sync and VRR for games.
  • Compared to iDock C10, we add a power button so you can turn it off when it’s not in use.

:raising_hands: Desk setup with a KVM switch

With one KVM switch, you may not solve all problems or meet all needs for your setup, but the key is to meet the most important goal for you. Do you use a work laptop, a game PC with 2 monitors? What’s the most important you want to achieve for your setup? Welcome to share.

Does the DisplayPort support MST (Multi-Stream Transport)?

I cannot use the HDMI out, so was wondering I can use the DisplayPort out with MST to connect to two screen via a MST splitter ( Delock Products 87768 Delock DisplayPort 1.4 Splitter 1 x DisplayPort to 2 x DisplayPort MST ) ?

This is a Linux+AMD-GPU specific issue because the HDMI Forum does not allow AMD to make open source drivers that support HDMI 2.1 ( https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2024/02/hdmi-forum-to-amd-no-you-cant-make-an-open-source-hdmi-2-1-driver/ )

This would make it the only KVM+Dock that can do that.

Hi Elfranne,

Thanks for reaching us.
Sorry that the DisplayPort not support MST.
If your PC have 2 DisplayPorts, and I think you can use another one DisplayPort-to-HDMI cable connect to the β€œHDMI in”.
