HDMI not showing and the "link" LED light is off

HDMI not showing and the “link” LED light is off/blinking.

Product model: 4KEX70-H2

If you are facing the issue of the HDMI not showing up on your monitor and the “link” LED light is off or blinking, try the following steps to troubleshoot.

Step 1: Check the cable connection.

It is recommended to use a Cat5E/6/6A/7 cable, which has connectors at both ends that meet the IEEE T568B standard. Ensure that the cable is properly connected at both ends.

Step 2: Use a new cable.

If the cable connection is not the issue, try using a new cable or crimping your existing Cat cable connectors according to the IEEE T568B standard.

Step 3: Check cable length.

The total length of the Cat cable should not exceed 70m/230ft for 1080P or 40m/131ft for 4K resolution. If you are using patch cables at both ends, the length should be as short as possible, no more than 5m/16ft. Ensure that all connectors meet the IEEE T568B standard. Also, note that the total length of the patch cables and the Cat cable should not exceed the limited length.
