I have a 8KSW21DP-DM switch on firmware GD32F303 V1.0.2.
It’s 100% stable when working just in the OS (Windows 11) but when I start playing games (VALORANT in my case) on my LG 27gl850 it’s randomly switches to Device 2 on it’s own. This happens every few minutes.
Is there a fix for this? I’m using the switch with my PC (primary device) and a laptop connected via Dell wd19TB. At first I thought it’s maybe laptops fault, so I’ve disconnected it completely - no effect.
The firmware on the switch is GD32F303 V1.0.2. I’ve tried to upgrade it to KVMS02018K201B60-MCU-V1.0.2 file, but it appears to be the latest one already.
Thanks for eaching us, and we are so sorry for the trouble caused.
It seems was caused by the press the hotkey by mistake during playing game.
Default by “Tab” work as the hotkey, and you can switching between two PCs via the two buton combine: “Tab”+ number “1” or “2”;or “Tab” +“←“ or ” →”
And you can switch to make the “CapsLk” work as the hotkey button by quickly press it two times, then switching via: “CapsLk”+ number “1” or “2”;or “CapsLk” +“←“ or ” →”
So, you can try plug your keyboard to other USB port but not the USB 1.1 port to check does it was caused by this issue or not?
and only the USB 1.1 port support hotkey function,so you also can disable the hotkey function via 4 buttons combine: left “Shift” + left “Ctrl” +left “Alt” +“]”
and Enable it via: left “Shift” + left “Ctrl” +left “Alt” +“[”
Best Regards,
Kevin
