DP to HDMI conversion cables

I have an AVAccess KVM switch that has only DP connection points. I have two computers and one monitor that has ONLY HDMI connection points. I have seen a variety of cables and converters out there that would have the right types (HDMI/DP) and genders (male/female) such that they would physically connect the devices.

But do these cables go “both ways”?

The DP to DP cables you shipped me have the same ends: DP female to DP female. Where that connection is needed, for example between my one DP-available monitor and your KVM, the cable “fits”.

I need a variety of cables to connect everything, with a mixture of types and genders. Can I purchase a cable configured however is needed? Can I purchase short conversion “dongles” that will attach to one end of the DP-to-DP cables you sent me in order to convert one end to the type and gender needed?

I’ll purhcase whatever is needed so long as the connections will work.

Thanks for any help.
