I have now tested it a bit longer and even though I have the deep sleep disabled at some times I still need to pull the usb-c out and put it back in again to get everything to connect even though only the computer has gone to sleep.
Now the computer had been in sleep mode with everything connected and then waking up the machine. Keyboard and mouse is working but the screen is still not starting up.
Should it not really be able to do that?

Truly sorry for that and our team are trying to find a available solution for this issue even though we cannot reproduce this in our lab.
It has happened now rather often when I have had my mac (intel cpu) connected over night and then wake it up and nothing is happening.
But ok, I will have to restart the dock every time then!
