Idock-B30 - not working in bios

Hey, I’m experiencing an issue where my keyboard doesn’t work during boot-up or when selecting for dual boot. For example, I try to enter the BIOS, but it doesn’t respond. I’ve already enabled USB Legacy Support. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Other when that it just works

Hi Tobias,

Thanks for getting back to us and we are really sorry for that.

  1. Which USB port the keyboard connected, please try test with different USB ports for a check.
  2. You can try diable the fast boot mode on BIOS for a check.
  3. try with wired keyboard if you are using wireless
  4. Try switch to the target PC then power on the PC and entering BIOS

Hey, thanks for reaching out! :):

I’ve tried the following:

  1. Checking which USB port the keyboard is connected to – I tested different USB ports with two different keyboards to make sure it wasn’t a faulty key on my own keyboard.
  2. Disabling Fast Boot mode in the BIOS – I tried that, but it didn’t change anything.
  3. Using a wired keyboard instead of a wireless one – I’m already using a wired keyboard and tested with two different ones.
  4. Switching to the target PC before powering it on and entering the BIOS – I tried this as well, but it didn’t make a difference.

Hi,

Sorry and in this case, can only recommend to plug in the keyboard and mouse directly to the PC when you try work on BIOS.
Truly sorry again for the inconvenience with you.
