iDock B30 with new Mac Studio detects one display but mirrored

I got a new Mac Studio and hooked it to the usb-c. Both my PCs show 2 displays I can extend but the Mac is only seeing one in displays (even though the displays are mirrored).

How can I get it to recognize the 2 displays? I had an older MacBook that was deemed to have older display tech but expected the newer Mac to be able to work?

Thanks!

Hi Michael,

Thanks for contacting us, but sorry that the USB-C come in our iDock B30 (and also the iDock C10/C20,KD-E10,KD-E20) can not output extended dual monitor when connect to macOS, which is because of the USB-C in mac only support SST(Single Stream Transport) so it can only detected one monitor then output mirroredd screens.
Around by the end of next month, we will have a new product,iDock M10, which designed for 1 mac with 2 USB-C and 1 desktop with DP+HDMI+USB,then output with 2 HDMI monitor will support mac work with extended dual monitor.

I am guessing I could use the USB C on my intel laptop that does support the dual display through USB-C, then just get 2 USB-C to HDMI adapters for the Studio and use this. It is really hard to figure this stuff out with too many terms and exceptions (no fault of AV Access at all here, impressed you keep up this week).

Just seems like tech and standards are too many and too many combinations LOL.

Thanks!
