Hi, I have an Asus laptop (Q5507QA), which has two thunderbolt USB-C ports. When i plug into the idock C10, my dual monitors are black, no video.
When I go into display settings in Windows, it detects the monitors but if I try to extend to them or change to them, the screen is still black. Additionally I have gone into Device Mgr and it shows the two monitors connected to the Idock C10, and shows that they are properly working.
Hello Ljweller,
Thanks for getting back to us and sorry for the trouble caused.
Kindly please try lowering the monitors’ output resolution and refresh rate to have a check does two monitors can work or not.
Hi there, the monitors are 100hz refresh rate, however in display settings it defaults for them to 60hz. I have tried both 60 and 100 and still cannot get the displays to work. One interesting thing. As mentioned, in Device Mgr it shows both external monitors (both are the same model), and if I go into advanced display settings (where I can change refresh rate), it shows both external monitors in the drop down, however when I am in the main display settings where I can chose extend/duplicate, it only shows monitor 1/2 (1 being the laptop display), it does not show 1/2/3 as it would normally like it does for my work laptop.
Hello Ljweller,
Could you try press the two buttons together: “Win” button and “P” and choose the “Duplicate” mode on the pop up windows.
Then going to display settings check again.
Many thanks.
