iDock c10 unable to get 1440p @144Hz dual monitor setup

Hi everyone,

I just got my iDock c10 to use for my dual monitor desktop/laptop setup.
But I’m unable to get the 1440p @144Hz option in Windows 11. The best I can get is 1440p @99,95Hz or 120Hz but at 1080p.

When I use the given cables directly on my RTX 4090, I do get the option to use 1440p @144Hz. And also the G-sync option in Nvidia control panel returns.

I already tried to switch HDMI cables between the iDock and my monitors, but no difference.

As stated before, I use a RTX 4090 and have two of the same LG Ultragear 27GL850 monitors.

The product page said the iDock supports dual monitors at this resolution and refresh rate.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Thanks in advance!

The specs of my monitor state that 1440p @144Hz is possible with HDMI

Hello Steven,

Thanks for getting back to us and we are so sorry for that.
Due to the desktop input group have a conversion channel which is the “DP in” converted to “HDMI out 1” so that the monitor connected in this port can only work at 1080P@120Hz or 1440P@100Hz while switched to desktop.
But the “HDMI in” to “HDMI out 2” work fine, in this case if you only have one 1440P@144Hz monitor and kindly please plug it into the “HDMI out 2”.
Apologized this inconvenience again.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the response! I did some more research and I found out to be that a specific setting in the OSD of my monitor (disabling adaptive sync/ freesync) was the problem.

Both my monitors are now able to give 2560x1440 @144Hz, even the one connected to the DisplayPort/HDMI port combo!

But thanks anyway!

Hi Steven,

Appreciate for your update and this may also depends on the different computer specs, but this is valuable for us.
Wish you have a nice weekend.
