iDock D23 - Issue with latest GPU Driver Update (Nvidia)

Hello,

A recent GPU Driver update appears to have caused some issues when switching from PC2 to PC1. Once I switch back from PC2 to PC1 the mouse goes “dark” (no lights) and all screens are black.

I have waited up to 1-2 hours and still doesn’t come back. I have tried disconnecting mouse/keyboard reconnecting, tried different cables and nothing appears to work apart from a hard reboot of PC1.

This is the driver update that may have caused the issue:

GeForce Game Ready Driver: Version: 572.60

I haven’t tried uninstalling and reinstalling yet or going back to an older version.

Any help would be appreciated.

Update:

Did a “clean” install of the driver seems to have fixed it. Will keep testing throughout the day.

Update 2:
After a reboot the issue came back same as described in the original post.

I have the same issue atm so am keen to hear of any possible fixes for this too thanks.

This is still happening for me, making the switch virtually useless atm. I can’t switch between PCs without rebooting as I just get black screens. I’ve tried powering off the switch but that immediately causes the currently selected PC to reset (losing any unsaved work).

Hi Iwal,

Truly sorry for the trouble caused.
Could you share the NVIDIA driver to us,we has downloaded the V572.60 and installed in our PC with RTX 2080 but cannot reproduced the same issue with yours.
So if you can help share the driver to us then we can try have a test in our lab again.

Hi Kevin, I’m currently running NVIDIA Studio Driver V572.83 on a GeForce RTX 3070.

Hi, could you help try downgrade to a old version before V572.60 and check does it still have this issue or not?
