iDock23 connecting capture card not working

I love my iDock23, however, I am trying to connect my micro 4/3rd camera with passthrough to my laptop and it’s not working at all. My camera does work when I connect directly from camera to laptop, but it doesn’t when I connect the capture card via USB-A to any of the ports on the iDock. I tried to put an adapter from USB-A to USB-C and that didn’t work either. The adapter does work on my laptop once again. Are capture cards like the Vivitar or the Elgato ones compatible with the iDock?

I just tested something, if I connect the USB cable from the iDock23 to a USB-A to USB-C adapter, my laptop detects the video card, BUT the audio from my Scarlett 2i2 interface is no longer taking.

Hello Jackie,

Thank you for getting back to us and truly sorry for that.
As your host is the laptop so you add the extra docking station right?
Kindly please use the provided USB-A to USB-B cable direct connect from laptop to D23 and bypass the docking for a check.

Yes. My laptop is connected to the provided USB-A to USB-B cable. I am trying to connect my Elgato Capture card that is USB-B into my iDock23, but it’s not showing up in the feed on OBS. I confirmed it does work if I connect it directly to laptop.

Hi I mean the provided USB-A to USB-B cable direct connec from laptop to D23,and the DP cable connected from Docking to D23.
So the laptop would have two connection: one is the USB-A to USB-B connect to the D23,one is the USB-C connect to the docking.
