Image not showing up on TV with blinking "Link" LED indicator

Issue: Image not showing up on TV with blinking “Link” LED indicator

Product model: 4KEX70-H2

If you are having trouble getting an image to show up on your TV, and the “Link” LED indicator is blinking, there may be issues with the cable or connector you are using.

Troubleshoot: Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.

1. Check your cable type

It is recommended to use a Cat5E/6/6A/7 cable, instead of a Cat5 or flat cable. Ensure that you are using the right cable type for your setup.

2. Check the cable length

Please make sure the total length of your cable is less than 70m/230ft for 1080P, and 40m/131ft for 4K resolution. If your cable is too long, the signal may not be strong enough to transmit the image to your TV.

3. Check connector standards

Ensure all connectors meet the same standard (IEEE T568B) if you are using patch cables at both ends. Also, please note that the total length of the patch cables and the Cat cable should not be over 70m/230ft.

4. Check cable crimping

If you are still experiencing issues after checking the above, try using a new cable or crimping your Cat cable connectors according to the IEEE T568B standard.

By following these troubleshooting steps, you should be able to identify and resolve any issues preventing your image from displaying on your TV. If the problem persists, please contact our support at info@avaccess.com.
