Keyboard and Monitor random fails KVM

Hello, I’ve had the 4K Dual Monitor KVM Switch, 2-Port HDMI with Hotkey Switching, Supports High Refresh Rates like 144Hz, 165Hz & 240Hz since April, and unfortunately over the last few months it seems to have developed a problem.

The keyboard will randomly stop working, where I need to push the “Change input” button. About 30% of the time, when it comes back to the PC, the right (of 2) monitor is just digital noise.

I can’t see a pattern, often I have a single PC on, it works fine for hours then suddenly, no keyboard :frowning: Mouse still works. I push the Change Input button, the other PC is Off, push again and keyboard works. However, 30% of the time when I do that, the right monitor is digital noise. It eventually seems to re-sync but this can take 10-15 minutes during which the PC is unusable.

I’ve had the above happen when the 2nd PC is On, or in Sleep mode, it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

Where you purchased this product and what is your order number?
What is the device serial number(A2*****)?
Have you tried switch to different USB 3.0 ports on PCs side which recommend to plug in rear USB port?

Serial number is s/n A23G0952

I can try to change the USB port on one of the PCs but the other I don’t have a choice. Both are USB 3.0 however.

Hi Kevin, thanks it has started happening again after those changes.

I’ve attempted to follow the instructions on the RMA link but the Exchange button does nothing on the Order page. Perhaps I am doing something wrong?
