Issue: Transmitter and receiver not communicating
If you’re experiencing issues with your transmitter and receiver not communicating, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue.
Product model:
Follow these steps in order to isolate and solve the problem:
1. Check the output resolution
Ensure that the source output resolution is not higher than 1080P@60Hz. If it is, then the transmitter and receiver may not be able to communicate properly.
2. Check the HDMI output
Connect the display to the transmitter’s HDMI out port to check if it has a video output. This will help you determine whether the issue is with the transmitter or receiver.
3. Check the DIP switch
If you’re using a cat cable, check the DIP switch on both the transmitter and receiver. Ensure that the switch is in the wired mode and that it is set to up to 120m/394ft. This will help ensure that the cable is properly configured for transmission.
4. Switch to wireless mode
If you’re using wireless transmission, ensure that you have to slide the switch to wireless mode on both the transmitter and receiver. Try to get them close to each other to test the connection.
5. Adjust antenna angles
If you’re using wireless transmission, adjust the angles of the antennas on both the transmitter and receiver to make them parallel to each other in the vertical plane. This will help ensure a stronger signal.
