PROBLEM:
PC is not detecting the TV as second monitor. TV is showing ‘Wait video’ with a resolution of like 640x480@60hz (not sure about that atm, can check if needed)
INFOS:
-The extender is connected via HDMI to the GPU and it is connected to the receiver via direct lan cable.
-Extender and Receiver see eachother, Link and Power leds are on (channel switches are all up atm, i tried with different channels too).
-The USB ports on the receiver works correctly (tested with mouse and keyboard) even with no video output from the receiver.
-Tried to connect another monitor to the receiver and everything works.
-Tried with another pc (W11 laptop) to the TV and everything works.
-Direct connection from GPU to TV via HDMI works.
-Tried tweeking settings on the tv when connected to the pc nothing changes.
Thanks for getting back to us and we are truly sorry for this trouble caused.
KIndly please try switch to different HDMI ports in both the computer and TV side for a check.
And try reboot all the devices, including the computer,TV and the 4KIP100-KVM
Truly sorry to keep you waiting such a long time.
By the way,the HDMI port connect to transmitter is same with this direct connection work port(“Direct connection from GPU to TV via HDMI works”)?
I am afraid that may caused by the PC, TV and our 4KIP100-KVM have the unexpected compatibility issue and then they are not work when connected together.
If you would like and the PC came with DisplayPort, you can try use another DisplayPort to HDMI cable have a test.
Thanks for the reply.
My GPU only has 1 HDMIport so yes the one i tested with the extender is the same i tested with direct connection.
I’ll try with an HDMI-to-DP cable.
Please note that most of the HDMI to DP cable came with uni-directional transmission way and only support from DP to HDMI.
So you need ensure the cable came support transfer the signal from HDMI to DP.
